Prayer Requests

“Pray for us, too. Pray that God will open a door for our message. Then we can preach the mystery of Christ.” Phil. 4:3

We are opening our second apartment in Rochester in April, which will be for men finishing the live-in program and other Olmsted County men needing a safe, supportive place to live.

Pray for our volunteer ministers as they speak to our men on Friday evenings.

Jobs. In the current job market it is difficult for men without Jobs skills to find good jobs. For these men to survive they will need a job which at least pays a minimum living wage.

Housing. It is difficult for felons to find housing. If there are housing situations available for them they are often very poor living conditions.

Pray for the men who do not know Christ, that they would be confronted with the truth of a relationship with Christ and not pretend that their religious feelings make them a Christian

Work Release Sixteen men are on state Work Release Program in Rochester at this time and Golden Valley has five Work Release and eleven ISR men. Work Release men are considered prison inmates until they complete the required time with us. The other men are on a program called ISR, Intensive Supervised Release. Please pray with us for each of these men that they may be successful in their new life.
